CLOTHES WITH A FUTURE
We’ve always been sticklers for quality. Our clothes are made with care to bring you joy for years, before you pass them on with pride.
-
We begin using Better CottonTM that can be traced by country and region. We start reporting Scope 3 emissions using our bespoke carbon accounting tool.
-
We achieve Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for the recycled synthetic fibres in our swimwear and outerwear.
-
Boden joins the CanopyStyle initiative to eliminate ancient & endangered forest fibre from our supply chain.
-
Boden becomes carbon neutral for Scope 1 & Scope 2 emissions. Certified for the Responsible Wool Standard and the Responsible Merino Standard.
-
Renewable energy now powers the utilities at our UK sites. We begin using recycled synthetic fibres in our swimwear and outerwear.
-
We upgrade our US dispatch boxes to 85-100% recycled cardboard. The Pass It On scheme sends pre-loved Boden clothes to charity, rather than landfill.
-
Solar panels now supply 35% of our UK warehouse electricity needs. Our pure cashmere products are certified by The Good Cashmere Standard.
-
We join the Leather Working Group and introduce recycled cotton to our denim. We begin mapping our Scope 1 & Scope 2 carbon emissions.
-
Boden joins the Better Cotton Initiative. Cotton is our most used fibre and by 2025 we will be sourcing 90% of our cotton in this way.
-
To protect the environment and safeguard factory workers we stop using PP Spray to create denim wash effects.
-
We begin harvesting rainwater on the roof of our British warehouse and store it on site to flush our office loos.
-
We upgrade our UK dispatch boxes to 100% recycled cardboard. Then invite our customers to recycle the cardboard once again.
